View and Thought

Consciousness is our nature, being living energy
from subatomic to universal levels
nevertheless our ego labels our consciousness
as its personal experience.

Our egocentric misunderstandings are determined
within the brain's convoluted neurology
structured by evolution and heredity
and programmed by habits of inattention.

The brain's wandering thoughts,
reflecting our self-centered and repetitive emotions,
become neurologically encrusted into thought habits
resulting in part in wrong views, and neurotic behavior.

Perhaps neurological changes resulting from enlightenment
may transform a Masters' brain, and mind,
to see oneself as part of the universe
rather than as its center.
