Design Requirements
For what qualitiies would we design
if we were the designers of
"the still point of the turning world"
the source of being, life, and consciousness?
Perhaps clarity, realization, and satisfaction
turning without turning, reflecting all else
seeing deepest suffering with loving compassion
for the grossest criminal as well as the saint.
Perhaps effort leading to no effort
without striving for a particular result
instead accepting and dealing with what is
without attainment, or credit for accomplishment.
To get a clearer picture
one might stand completely along
free from attachment or desire
for example, desire to get a clearer picture.
