Preface: Sincerity

Before practicing mindfulness or meditation
focus briefly on how you are;
your current impulses, thinking, and emotions
and even your unconscious tendencies and views.

Question particularly whether you want to practice
to get something, or somewhere, through your practice,
as opposed to just practicing, and appreciating your being.

Be aware of these factors as you settle down.
Relax, and let your sincerity be your guide.
