Extends to rocks, trees, stars, anything.
In a quiet, open, flexible mind
There are no boundaries,
Just whatever comes to mind.
Sit in an upright posture, without any gaining notion.
Without trying to get better, get ahead, or achieve something.
Without trying to realize anything, in particular or in general.
Returning to the changing present moment.
Within Zazen's upright posture and concentration:
Neither attaching to or pushing away thoughts, feelings, sensations and senses.
Just resting; boundlessly alive, awake, and aware,
Not fixating on self, not even holding a perception of self.
These meditations are not based on theories, ideals. or faith.
Instead each changes within your practice
Within each experiment, each experience, each moment
Experimentally, experientially, existentially.
